No installation, no account, no data ever leaves your device.
Por que usar Timer & Stopwatch?
- Three tools in one — countdown timer, stopwatch with laps, and Pomodoro — no need to switch between apps.
- Audio alerts built in — an audible beep fires when the countdown ends or a Pomodoro session transitions, so you can focus elsewhere.
- Millisecond-accurate stopwatch — uses requestAnimationFrame for smooth, high-resolution lap timing.
- Configurable Pomodoro — adjust work, short break, and long break durations to match your focus style.
- Completely private — runs entirely in your browser; no data is sent to any server.
Casos de uso de Timer & Stopwatch
Study and exam prep
Use the Pomodoro timer to study in focused 25-minute blocks. The structured work/break cycle is proven to improve retention and reduce mental fatigue.
Cooking and kitchen timing
Set a precise countdown for boiling eggs, baking, or marinating. The audio beep alerts you when the time is up so you don't have to watch the screen.
Sports and fitness
Use the stopwatch to time workout sets, rest intervals, or running laps. Record each split with the lap button to track your performance over multiple rounds.
Remote work and deep work
The Pomodoro technique helps remote workers maintain focus by creating natural work-break rhythms, reducing distractions and decision fatigue throughout the day.
Dicas e boas práticas
- 💡The Pomodoro technique suggests taking a longer 15–30 minute break after every 4 work sessions. The tool does this automatically — just let the cycle run.
- 💡During the stopwatch lap list, splits are shown per lap and total elapsed time is also tracked, so you can see both individual lap times and cumulative time at a glance.
- 💡If the audio doesn't play on the first start in some browsers, click the Start button once — browsers require a user gesture before allowing audio playback.
- 💡You can adjust Pomodoro durations in the collapsible Settings panel. A common variation is 50-minute work sessions with 10-minute breaks for longer focus work.
Como se compara
Built-in phone timers cover basic countdowns but don't combine stopwatch laps and Pomodoro cycles in one place. Dedicated Pomodoro apps like Forest and Be Focused add gamification features; this tool is simpler and requires no account or install. For pure in-browser use, this is faster to access than any app.
