Preguntas frecuentes

Will the timer keep running if I switch browser tabs?
Yes. The timer uses timestamp-based calculation rather than frame counting, so it stays accurate even when the tab is in the background. The audio alert will fire on schedule.
Can I change the Pomodoro session length?
Yes. Open the Settings panel inside the Pomodoro tab to adjust work duration, short-break duration, and long-break duration. Common variations include 50-minute work sessions with 10-minute breaks.
Why does the audio not play the first time?
Modern browsers require a user interaction (like a click) before allowing audio playback. Click the Start button — this grants audio permission, and all subsequent alerts will play automatically.
Is my data safe?
Yes. All processing happens entirely in your browser. Your data never leaves your device and is never uploaded to any server.

Classroom and meeting time-boxing

Teachers and meeting facilitators can display the countdown on a shared screen to keep presentations, group activities, or brainstorming sessions on schedule.

Consejos y buenas prácticas

  • 💡If you find 25-minute Pomodoro sessions too short for deep work, try 50-minute sessions with 10-minute breaks — many programmers and writers prefer this rhythm.
  • 💡Use the lap feature during workout circuits to compare your times across rounds and spot when fatigue starts affecting your pace.
  • 💡Pin the browser tab or keep it visible on a second monitor so you can glance at the remaining time without switching windows.
